Hoppy Easter!

I'm really not sure why Mommy and Daddy expected things to turn out differently, given my experience with Santa. But bless their hearts, they were very optimistic as we headed out for "Easter In Ridgewood" to meet the Easter Bunny!

I guess I did my part to mislead them by insisting on wearing my bunny ears all day and excitedly showing off the Peep I was given as we arrived in town to await the bunny's arrival.

But as you can see by this series of pictures, there isn't a single shot of me with the Easter Bunny. Oh, sure there are two that do exist. But I was screaming and clutching onto Mommy for dear life... and nobody needs to see that!

Luckily, things went much smoother when I woke up on Easter morning to find that EB didn't hold it against me. In fact, he left me so many terrific presents in my basket that I almost completely forgot the trauma from the previous day!

And then to top it all off, Mommy and Daddy surprised me with a Big Bird chair! It's the same one that they have in my doctor's office that was made in the '70s. I was so happy that I carried BB all over the place and even did a little slow dance with him! Check it out by clicking here.

After I tore myself away from BB, it was off to Karen and Paul's house for a wonderful Easter celebration with the family! Don't I look pretty? Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for my beautiful Easter dress!

I had so much fun with my cousins. And everyone was so generous, bringing me terrific presents and helping me fill my basket during the Easter egg hunt!

Cousin Danny organized a Candy Grab. I didn't quite get the rules at first...

... but it didn't take me long to catch on and fill my bag with tons of goodies. Thanks everyone for making it a great Easter!
