Happy Birthday, Dear Big Bird!

Well, they say the third time's the charm, and when it comes to my quest to meet Big Bird, whoever "they" are were right!

Mommy and Daddy have been telling me for weeks that I was finally going to meet Big Bird in person at his birthday party. And I kept telling them that I was going to touch his feathers, his beak and his tail. And you know what? I did!

I was happy and surprised that Elmo was at the party. I couldn't wait to go over and say hello. You see, Elmo and I go way back. I've had my picture taken with him twice before! This time, he kept tickling my face to make me smile. I really enjoyed it. Mommy, not so much!

Sure, Zoe looked cute in her tutu, but I think I rocked my Sesame friends t-shirt just as well!

It was great to chat with Bert and Cookie for a few minutes in between trips to see Big Bird on the other side of the room.

I had a blast at the birthday party. Can't you tell? I hope we get to go again next year!

Tooth-Hurty!

Ask anyone who knows me, and they'll tell you that this is my favorite joke: "What time is it when it's time to go to the dentist? Two-thirty! (Get it: Tooth-hurty!)

Well, in order to keep my teeth from hurting, Mommy insists that I brush my teeth every day! At first, I was very agreeable during tooth-brushing time. But lately, I feel that I can do it better.

Mommy doesn't seem to enjoy the whole experience as much as she used to; she says it takes too long. But every night, I brush by myself for a while before I throw her a bone and let her take over.

And as you can see from the final result, I do a pretty good job keeping my pearly whites, well, just that: pearly and white!
