I'm happy to report that despite my rather unsuccessful meeting with Santa (see my post from a few days ago for more on that), the big guy didn't disappoint.
Christmas started off in Connecticut where we had Christmas Eve dinner at Mimi and Poppy's house! It was great to be with our family for the night. And we even got there early to spend some special time with Mimi and Poppy (and Dolly)!
Boy, was I shocked when Aunt Tine and Uncle Jim showed up with an extra-special gift: Elmo's Restaurant! That was the end of my relaxation, though, because I spent the rest of the evening taking orders and serving food. But I loved every minute of it!
Imagine my surprise on Christmas morning when I woke up to find a brand-new kitchen right there in the middle of our living room!
After playing with my toys all morning, I got all dressed up for Christmas Day at Grandma and Grandpa's!
It was another day full of great food and lots of fun with my family.
Grandma even surprised me with a homemade Cookie Monster cupcake! Thanks everyone (yes, even you Santa) for making my Christmas so memorable!
